Eizeringen 1914-1918

Until the end of 2014, an exhibition about WWI is on display at 'In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst'. Pictures, posters, documents, helmets of both allied and German soldiers, trench art, medals and many other objects are telling the story about Eizeringen in the era 1914-1918.

There will be beers available, which are referring to the First World War.

The exhibition has 3 themes:

• the war heroes and veterans of Eizeringen
• the refugees of Geluwe
• the humanitarian relief actions from the USA for the population of occupied Belgium and the food committee of Eizeringen.
